I am charging every electrical item I have because I’ve had a power and phone cut since last Saturday. Got talking to some Electricity company man on the bus yesterday who said a part had blown (‘because we do not maintain it’ – surprise!) and it was going to cost them £2m for a new one and they would have to get it from Europe. He said the number of people using electricity in my region didn’t justify the cost of this so they were unsure what to do! Thanks I thought.
